The Moonraker Design Co. MaxxAir MaxxFan Interior Mounting System is a bolt-on bracket designed to simplify and strengthen your van’s roof vent installation. Instead of relying on wood spacers or questionable self-tapping screws, this system creates a solid, serviceable mounting surface for your MaxxFan from the inside. Made from corrosion-resistant, lightweight materials, machined right here in our California manufacturing facility (aka our garage) it delivers a clean, low-profile finish that looks factory and performs reliably over time. Whether you’re building out a Sprinter, Transit, or ProMaster, this bracket helps protect your roof sealant, reduce install time, and maintain easy access for future maintenance. It’s a smart, clean solution for modern van conversions.

Installation Information

We recommend this kit in conjunction with our Anti-Crack Ring & the DIYVan Roof Top Adapter

We recommend (but not required) using a thin layer of either:

between the brackets and the inner roof skin during install. Each kit comes with 16x 1.5” stainless steel socket head cap screws, washers and nuts.
