Lagun B-Pillar Bracket

What's Included?

  • 2x M6 screws, countersunk washers, washers and nylock nuts to mount the bracket to the seat base

  • T30 Torx Driver
  • T45 Torx Driver for D-Ring Removal
  • 6mm Hex Key

Step #1 Remove the B-Pillar D-Ring

Use a T45 Torx Driver to remove the factory B-Pillar D-Ring screw

Step #2 Fit the stepped washer

Take the stepped washer from the factory D-ring hardware stack and insert the small diameter into the bracket so the larger diameter is on the inside of the main bracket bend.

Step #3 Re-fit the Factory D-ring

Reinstall the screw, d-ring and wave washer on top of the bracket and loosely tighten it in place.

Step #4 Install the seat base screws

Line up the slots with the holes in the seat base and install the screws with the custom flat mount washers on the front side of the bracket flange.

If installing on the passengers side simply remove the plastic cover to get access to the backside of these holes. While you or a friend hold the screws in place you can add a washer and nut to the inside of the seat base for each screw.

** IMPORTANT: Go slow on this step and make sure not to drop any hardware, it can be a pain to retrieve it. If you are not confident about this step it may be best for you to pull your seat off. If you plan to go the seat removal route make sure to disconnect your battery and let the van sit for 20 minutes before disconnecting seat wires.

Step #5 Plumb and Tighten bolts

Before tightening the bolts on the seat base & b-pillar make sure that the bracket is plumb and vertical. Tighten the b-pillar snug first and then the seat base bolts. It can be pretty common for the pinch welds on the seat base to make a little bit of noise as you tighten the seat base bolts.

Step #6 Install the Standard Mounting Plate from Lagun

Using the included button head screws and a 6mm Hex Key install the standard mounting bracket to the Moonraker Bracket. This plate is not included and needs to be purchased separately with a Lagun table leg.

Step #7 Enjoy your new Table!

Now you can mont your lagun table leg. For the passenger side the right style works best and for the driver side the Left style works best. However they both can work & you can actually change the side of the handle on the new Lagun legs at anytime. Reach out if you have any questions about this.

Although the left and right version of the leg work best on their respective b-pillar sides, we did design the bracket to bet able to accept each type of handle position regardless of side. Below is an example of the right Lagun leg mounted on the Driver side B-pillar bracket

Driver Side Install Difference

The driver side is a bit different because of the fuse block. You can remove the screws with a T20 torx driver and push the fuse box gently down and out of the way.

**IMPORTANT: Disconnect your battery before doing this step since you are working around wires/fuses.
