The newest version of our strut kits takes the best Sprinter Van Hood struts on the market and makes them better. They now come with a set of custom counter sunk washers and black stainless flat head screws to replace the factory mounting screws.

Upgrade your Mercedes Sprinter Van (2019+ VS30 models) with Moonraker Design Co's precision CNC machined Hood Strut Brackets & Kit. Our brackets are meticulously crafted from solid 6061 Aluminum billet in our CNC machine shop, providing a clean and uniform look to your engine bay.

These replace the factor hood stilt or support bar. With these not only do you get some help opening up the hood, it stays open and up making it easier to access your engine bay!

  • Van Compass Hood Line Bracket Compatibility: It’s been noted by some of our customers there is a slight interference with these brackets and they can be modified pretty easily so we are working to update our documentation to help show this. If you have any questions about this let us know.

Struttin in style now!

Very nice product and easy to install especially with Todd’s exceptional video. Todd’s products are very well designed this is my second purchase but only 1st install so far. Now if some of his other great products would come back in stock like the full kit and caboodle I would be grabbing that real quick or shoot just the extruded aluminum brackets! Keep up the great work Todd!

Hood up!

Great product that is extremely well engineered. Hardware is put together very well and everything assembles quick and easy (+ peasy squeezey if you watch the install vid)

Enjoy just being able to lift my hood lightly now rather than lift, hold, maneuver over to the stand, unlatch from catch, get stand in stay, make sure stand in stay is solid and secure.
So in short, 1 step beats 6 steps all day.
